Tisseo - Chouette

Brief

DDB had another fun campaign to produce for Tisseo. They wanted to show different passengers as owls. In french the word for owl is “chouette” which can also mean “cool” so this play on words gave us extra inspiration.

Creative Solution

This was a pure post production retouching job. Using various stock photos of birds and human bodies, the challenge was to morph them together while humanising the expressions.

Large areas of the birds faces were reworked or completely re-illustrated by hand. Painting individual feathers and thousands of micro hairs was a painstaking job but it contributed to the final result. Happy and fun images, we see ourselves in the blue owl with the 80’s shades…  Bodacious!
