Baxter - Nurse

Brief

This was an interesting brief. The idea was to make a portrait from Baxter IV medical products.

Creative Solution

The client didn’t have CAD files of their products and 3D modeling all the little parts would have been too demanding, so we opted for a photographic solution. We shot all the products on a turntable every 30° and this gave us to have many version of the same object for compositing with identical light.

We digitally sketched out our nurse and supplemented with Baxter products to create the portrait. The shadows are reused from the real photographed drop shadows. Because of well planned shooting and post work we didn’t need to retouch very much, everything fell together to make an interesting portrait that pleased our client.
