We received real samples of the flooring product, Classic Cut & Fancy Free vinyl flooring. We scanned these and made tileable patterns. The next step was to make a shader system the reproduced the roughness and shininess of the material at different angles and zooms. Also the colors had to change per shot. 

We designed the main spaces and populated them with 3D objects. Lighting was done with Corona and we often used 360° HDR’s out of the windows for a more natural feel to the light. After rendering we did all the post work on 32 bit files before kicking them down to 8 bit files we could hand off to our client.
