Sci-fi hair salon
BRIEF
While researching new prompt techniques, we came up with the idea to do a series based on 1950’s hair salons, but remixed in a futuristic style.

AI Image Generation
After honing in on the visual style we were after, we wrote prompts to build us that look in AI. Once we had a base of a few images we liked, we used these images to drive the AI. By randomly modifying the seed, denoise and other prompt tokens we were able to generate many variations on the theme. We used Midjourney to generate several initial style images. We then used customized versions of Stable Diffusion and Comfy UI to generate the final series of images using the style images as guidance for the AI.
AI Motion
We used selected images to do image to video generation. We engineered custom prompts to maintain the style and to invent things missing out of frame. We art directed the motion using AI tools to add personality and some subtle action to each clip. We needed about 25 different generations per clip to produce an acceptable result. AI takes time and lots of testing to dial things in for specific art directed results.
The final project produced over 100 final images. We were able to maintain the style and iterate many different designs. Which one do you like?
