These images were all 3D modeled and textured using our standard pipeline. The moon was done with hi res surface scans and DEM data from NASA, we could have rendered it at 96k resolution if we wanted to! The images were completed some post work to make them softer, more friendly and approachable. The backgrounds are matte paintings made from images of the milky way and random stars. This was a fun and fresh project for us.
