GE Healthcare - Signa Premier SuperG

Brief

This project was a detailed breakdown of how the internal coils of the Signa Premier MRI SuperG system worked. 

Creative Solution

We worked with the clients CAD data to prepare a photo-real 3D asset we could render into a variety of scenes. This usually requires a lot of cleanup of these heavy assets as well as matching the plastics and materials used on the final production product. 

Over the years we have developed our materials library to simulate the look of the different surfaces for this clients products. We usually tweak and upgrade these materials on each and every job to increase the level of quality. 

Much of the CAD data was remeshed and retopologized in order to have control over the shader effects and animate along the length of the coils.
